Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?

"Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?" is a frequently anthologized(將...收入編選) short story written by Joyce Carol Oates. The story first appeared in the Fall 1966 edition of Epoch Magazine. It was inspired by three Tucson, Arizona murders committed by Charles Schmid, which were profiled in Life magazine in an article written by Don Moser on March 4, 1966. Oates said that she dedicated the story to Bob Dylan because she had been inspired to write it after listening to his song "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue."[citation needed]

我真的無意要這樣說學校，但是我覺得很多事情可以開始被大家拿出來做討論就是好的開始，過去的我們，在什麼鳥屁的師院制度下有很多東西都這它既有的傳統，這些我看起來覺得不怎麼好但是好像是父母心中的強心針的習慣其實被我定義為：上個世界的時代產物。也就是說，在過去封閉的校園哩，有這些封閉的制度、有些規準的限制，期很符合那時代的需求的。當家長要求一個國小老師必須是師院出生的，必須要穿著體面，沒有短裙和露小腿的老師還在這世界上的時候，這些規矩都有他的邏輯在。我不能否認，像我這麼老派的人其實還蠻喜歡他的部分規定的，我不是天生就反骨，只是覺得有很多事情學校就是想到就去做，很少人願意去做評估和協調，每次和學生鬧得沸沸揚揚，搞到有人找立委、找電視名嘴、找記者來撥出這些殘酷事實的時候，其實對學校和學生雙方的影響都很大。招生是一回事、學生一是回事，哪有老師(學校)想要收到不好的學生?但是我真的很少看到老師是想要教會學生一些東西的，我指的是，讓他學會如何在社會上好好生存、立足、有放諸四海皆準不容易被淘汰的態度和信念。這其實是我一直想做的事，我覺得我很用心在經營我和學校的關係，至少，在我的認知裡面，我還蠻喜歡這所學校的。

"The Rocking-Horse Winner" is a short story by D. H. Lawrence. It was first published in July 1926 in Harper's Bazaar and subsequently appeared in the first volume of Lawrence's collected short stories. It was made into a full-length film(長片) directed by Anthony Pelissier and starring John Howard Davies, Valerie Hobson and John Mills; the film was released in 1949 in the United Kingdom and 1950 in the United States.

今天看完了Araby，其實心裡有一種感覺，他好像有點我自己的影射，或者是說，我覺得我自己常常跳進那個深淵。

今天跟Eric哥哥聊天，然後果不其然了又是說了太多了。說到補習、說到水餃、說到以前的對象、說到處女座，每次遇到這種話題就很難停下來，一來是自己很有興趣，而來是我很喜歡這種感覺，就是可以大聲把自己的內心話說出來的這種感覺。
